Boarding Not Allowed Here
Posted On 04/15/2007 14:44:23

I drove 60 miles today to a place called Dunstable Downs in the UK, after checking it out on the web, it looked superb! Open rolling hills, gravel paths, woodland tracks. The weather was fantastic! Glorious sunshine, 23c and not even a breath of wind. Anyways, so we get all the way there only to find signs up saying "No Gra%$ Boards Or Power Kites". How gutted were we!!!!  Is it just me or is it getting more and more common to find places that are perfect for free riding only to see signs up saying you can't ride?

So after being sooo disappointed we decided to drive to a mountain bike centre about 15 mile further down the road having read that it was boarder friendly. We get there and found that, yeah we were allowed to ride there but we were made to feel about as welcome a turd in a bath! The course was sweet for bikes and some parts are useable on boards but they were few a far between. So if any of you guys and girls ever find yourselves in the Tring area in the UK save your cash and avoid Aston Hill MBC.

Well my rant is over for today, cheers for reading it and please let me know if there is anywhere that you know of that has banned boarding so we don't waste another day driving around the country.

Cheers and keep it upright,
