I like the conflict 106 better for the following reasons.

It's longer, I have a 39 inch long board and I find that it is harder to control than longer boards when I'm going fast. The conflict is a nice 41 inches, so it would do better going faster.

It's a bit lighter, just barely lighter though.  Lighter boards are always nice for tricks and jumps.  I like to be able to jump with the board.

The longer and lighter part makes the conflict more apealing to me than the flite lite.

I love their bionic trucks, they give a really nice ride.

you are right, that is a tough decision, they both are very nice mountainboards made by a great company.

If I were to buy one of these mountainboards, I would go with the conflict 106, granted it is $50 more expensive than the flight lite 100, but it is lighter (by a little bit) and the length that I prefer, which is 41''.  Its light enough for freestyle tricks, and long enough to suit for a more comfortable stance in my opinion.  You could take some serious hills with that mountainboard.

Good luck in your decision!
