After a month of use, a kingpin broke in my Ground Industries bionic trucks. Should be relatively cheap to get hold of a replacement, but they don't sell it seperately.  I had to buy a kit that included the two kingpins and other parts for $24.99.

I bought it at the end of July. 11 emails and 6 months later, Ground Industries still hasn't sent it yet.  They keep saying stuff like, "it is out of stock," blah blah "going through customs," blah blah "should be on it's way."

I like the products Ground Industries has, but really, I think MBS is a much, much better company. I just asked them to give me my money back, and so far they haven't responded, and it's been 11 days.

Has anyone else had any bad experiences with Ground Industries?

In my case, its been just opposite.....although MBS is good, Ground Industries havent provided any problems to me....although they're a bit costly but products quality is great

Any company that repeatedly lies to a customer doesn't deserve business.

This is what they told me on January 30th...

"The I will send your parts today.
Sorry this must have fallen through the cracks.
I will forward a tracking number when it ships.
Sorry for the extensive delay and thank you for your patience.
Matt"

I though YESSS!!! Finally going to get it! But now it's February 12th and
I have yet to hear anything from them.

Maybe they have big cracks over there?

Yeah, I can't seem to decide which one is better, ground industries or mbs.  I can deff see where potato is coming from, but hearing that they didn't cause you any problems provides a little more comfort.  I've always liked their boards, but if they provide that kind of service then I prolly won't buy from em.

Unless Ground Industries gives me a free mountainboard for the trouble, I will forever think they are horrible.

For me, the decision is simple, anything BUT Ground Industries.

Nope. Contacted them several more times. No response. It's like they don't care.

DOWN WITH GROUND INDUSTRIES

Well it seemed like it took several angry emails sent at once to get the job done, but low and behold my angry emails seemed to get their attention.

They mailed out my package overnight air with a free Ground Industries shirt. After over five months of waiting, I finally received my order!

Well I am currently trying to get a couple sets of new cubes from them, one set I ordered and tore on there third ride, the other a replacement for the cubes that come in the board that tore a couple of weeks ago. I bought my board in April. So I'm currently not ridable and have been waiting on the replacements since early June. I've called every week only to talk to someone who remembers me and tells me their sending me my goods but I have waited now for five weeks. They seem like nice guys but I can't pimp a company that can't take care of the people who buy their products. They currently are unable to support their riders and that lack of dependability will cause people like me to look for another board from another company.

On another note I purchased cubes from MTBZ who charged me and never sent the cubes. Some guy named Brady sent an email in May saying that Ground was sending out all their back ordered cubes. Ground disagreed and now MTBZ and Brady won't respond to me emails and their phone number isn't working. Next move is to get legal. If you know anything about this company, a new number etc. let me know. But beware ordering from them.

That's how I felt as well. Why are they having so much trouble filling and keeping up with orders?

As for MTBZ, I've ordered twice from them. They did great for all the non-ground industries products I ordered, and I think this is because MTBZ personally mailed it. But for both the ground industries products, I had trouble getting.  Brady said that it's because Ground Industries mails their products out themselves, Brady doesn't actually mail it, he just tells them where to send it.

I did experience that he was slow to respond to emails, and that when it came to the end, he suggested that I call Ground Industries to see what was going on (talk about taking care of the customer). Not all that helpfull.

Hope this works out for you though. I did get a free t-shirt from Ground Industries because of the trouble.
