I just bought an MBS atom 80x (already shipped and on its way) we are kiting at the beach at low tide. Now my daughter is around 130 lbs and I noticed (too late) that the recomended rider wait is under 100 lbs. Will I need to return or sence we arent riding down mountains will she be ok on this board? Honestly, I think she'll be fine. I am currently riding on a deck that has a weight limit of 150, and I weigh 180. Nothing has happened yet, and I've been riding on it for months.

well kiting she should be alright, the only problem would be whenever she lands the center of the board will skin the ground but shouldn't hurt her at all.

Yep, she has been using for awhile now she traids off with her sister who is lighter. The smaller wheels tend to bight into the looser sand more than my larger wheels so for that reason I wish I went with bigger board. I am thinking about getting larger wheels and putting on these trucks. That should work right?

Yeah, larger wheels will help. Large tires that have little or even no treads on them work great on sand.
