Is anyone here familiar with old MBS board model names?

I'm shopping around for a used beginner board, and I'm seeing listings for MBS boards called Jeep Renegade and Ambush Warrior.  Are these the same board?  Their specs look very similar.  Also, neither of these boards is listed on MBS's site as a current model- are these both discontinued old models?

Would it be a good idea to buy one of these boards to start, or should I fork out 2-3 times more cash and go straight to something like an MBS Comp 16 or a Scrub Furnace Creek, as I would grow out of the starter board real quick?  (I'm not a rich man, so a couple hundred bucks makes a difference to me right now)

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated...

I got started on the jeep renegade.  The warrior, from what I understand, is for lighter riders.  Both of them have been discontinued and replaced with newer models, but if you are looking to get into starting, the jeep renegade would be a good board.  The brake was very nice to have, and it is a nice and light board.

I have a jeep renegade that I would be willing to part with for $45+ shipping.  It is in good condition, if you are interested, I'll put up pics for you. I just don't need it anymore.
