At the heart of mountianbooarding we find something strange. We find an unexplainable form of inspiration; something that non-riders could pick apart for years and years and never fully comprehend. There is an unseen form of motivation that drives us, moves us, and flat out gets us stoked to ride.
While many of us have our "favorite terrain," we still get amped to ride anywhere and everywhere. Snow isn’t the best terrain material for the wheel-based beasts we call mountainboards. That stuff has long been the turf of choice of our brother in board sports, Snowboarding.
Many would say that a mountainboard just isn’t the right tool for the snow. While this might be true, there are also many mountainboarders who live in snow-covered winter regions of the world who have seen at a hard-packed hill side nearby, or a slushy, half mud trail through the trees, and the feeling of being on there mountainboard drifts silently to their senses.
