About Us
It doesn't matter if I'm bombing down a winding trail, riding on a grass covered hill, carving down a street, or playing around with tricks... it's all fun! It was my passion for the sport of mountainboarding that caused me to create this website.
By all means, I'm no pro (yet ;D), but I LOVE TO MOUNTAINBOARD! I was hooked the first time I tried it, which was over 9 years ago. I desparetly needed something to do in my free time, I was bored out of my mind. I knew I enjoyed boardsports like snowboarding, and I loved to be outside, but I wasn't aware mountainboarding even existed until a short segment about it popped up on the TV. I had to try it! I bought a board and while I couldn't ride, turn, or kick very well, I was hooked! It has been many years since I started, but I still look for new places to ride everywhere I go.
Looking around, I can't believe there aren't more people that do this sport. However, in reality, when comparing mountainboarding (started in 1990) to skateboarding (started in 1960), this sport is still young! In hope that a lot more people will become involved in this sport, I created this website to help beginners and those who are interested in learning a bit about it.
Beginners and those that don't know anything about mountainboarding often have a lot of questions. Here you can hopefully find all the answers to the questions (and if you don't, I'm probably still working on writing it).
